  1. Chalkis Shipyards are certified to ISO 9001: 2000 by EQA.
  2. Chalkis Shipyards Port Facilities are under the implementation of ISPS Code safety measurements (SAFETY LEVEL É) IMO Port facility number: GRQKG-0002
  3. For quality control and in particular for the ultrasonic plate thickness measurements and Cargo Gear Tests Chalkis Shipyards are certified by the Hellenic Register of Shipping.
  4. The quality control department is consisted of people certified in the following:

    - Thickness ultrasonic testing to ASNT

    - Magna flux testing to ASNT

    - Dye check testing to ASNT

    - Visual inspection to ASNT

  5. The welders are certified by LLOYD'S Register and GL Register, while they have also been trained to special welding cases and welding with TIG method.
  6. The maintenance department is trained in preventive maintenance.
  7. The shipyard's workforce is trained in fire safety matters, while the fire safety team is also trained in the field of emergency confrontation.
  8. The heads of production sectors, the foremen and the chief engineers are trained in management as well as their role in safety.
  9. All the office employees have been trained in computer handling (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Windows 2000, Internet Explorer & Outlook Express)
  10. The head of Quality Assurance Department is certified by LLOYD'S as LEAD AUDITOR.
  11. The internal inspectors are trained as INTERNAL AUDITORS.
  12. Finally, the accountant and personnel department employees have been trained in Personnel payroll, the role of financial executive members in management and the submission of Income Tax Statements-changes in Code Of Books and Data.
